Lunch - Almuerzo

In order to help with the lunch pick up process, fill out a index card with your child's first/last name and which school they attend & bring it with you everyday. Include all of your children enrolled in the district in one card. Children do not need to be present to pick up meals.

Para ayudar con el proceso de recoger el almuerzo, complete una tarjeta con el nombre / apellido de su hijo y la escuela a la que asiste y tráigala con usted todos los días. Incluya a todos sus hijos inscritos en el distrito en una tarjeta. Los niños no necesitan estar presentes para recoger la comida.

Ipad Applications - Aplicaciones de Ipad

CHS will be using Google Meet to facilitate instruction while we are in a Distance Learning Model. Have your child use the Self Service app on the ipad and download Google Classroom, Google Meet and Gmail apps as soon as possible. The students need to login in to their school email and accept Google Classroom invites from their teachers. First period will begin at 8:00 am Monday, August 17th. The time schedule for Distance Learning Model is posted under the Student tab.

CHS utilizará Google Meet para facilitar la instrucción mientras estamos en un modelo de aprendizaje a distancia. Registration packet return/textbooks & ipads - Paquete de registro de devolución / libros de texto e ipads

The return of registration packets and textbook/ipad pick up will in the PLC and library at CHS on the following days.

August 12th - 12th grade 1-3:30 pm
August 13th - 11th grade 9 am-12 pm & 10th grade 1-3:30 pm
August 14th - 9th grade 9 am-12 pm

Be advised that in order for your student to pick up a class schedule, the entire registration packet MUST have all required signatures. There’s a total of 9 parent signatures. The migrant form must also be filled out by everyone, whether you believe you qualify or not. This year we have also included the Ipad agreement, please make sure you sign it and return it with your student.

Don't forget to wear a mask and social distance when you come in for your packet.

Proof of residency (current utility bill or other document showing street address) is required to pick up packet.

Graduation Guidelines - Directrices de Graduacion

The following are the CHS rules/procedures for graduation. Please understand that we are doing all we can to ensure this is a memorable event for our graduates but we must follow the Imperial County Health Department rules. We will have a parade through the streets of Calipatria followed by a Drive-In Ceremony with fireworks.

Drive-in ceremony:

1. Only the graduating senior and their parents/guardians are allowed in the vehicle. Graduating seniors are asked to sit in the passenger seat of the car.

2. We are asking that only cars be used for the event, no large trucks or large SUVs that will hinder the line of sight for other vehicles. Car decorations must be arranged so as to not hinder others line of sight and not come off during the parade.

3. Line up for the parade will be at 6:45 PM in the district northern parking lot.

4. There should be no person-to-person contact during the ceremony. Individuals may not hand diplomas or any other items or shake graduates’ hands.

5. Students and families must remain in the cars at all times.

6.There will be a designated location for photographs. Only the student can get out of the vehicle for pictures. We will have a photographer available on site.

7. Parents can also take photos from inside the vehicle.


(Prior to the parade diploma covers and 2020 Hornet Masks will be available for graduating seniors.)





Las siguientes son las reglas / procedimientos de CHS para la graduación. Por favor, comprenda que estamos haciendo todo lo posible para garantizar que este sea un evento memorable para nuestros graduados, pero debemos seguir las reglas del Departamento de Salud del Condado de Imperial. Tendremos un desfile por las calles de Calipatria seguido de una Ceremonia de Drive-In con fuegos artificiales.

Ceremonia de entrada:

1. Solo el senior graduado y sus padres / tutores están permitidos en el vehículo. A las personas mayores que se gradúan se les pide que se sienten en el asiento del pasajero del automóvil.

2. Solicitamos que solo se usen autos para el evento, no camiones grandes o SUV grandes que dificulten la línea de visión de otros vehículos. Las decoraciones del automóvil deben arreglarse para no obstaculizar la línea de visión de los demás y no salir durante el desfile.

3. La fila para el desfile será a las 6:45 PM en el estacionamiento norte del distrito.

4. No debe haber contacto de persona a persona durante la ceremonia. Las personas no pueden entregar diplomas ni ningún otro artículo ni estrechar la mano de los graduados.

5. Los estudiantes y las familias deben permanecer en los autos en todo momento.

6. Habrá un lugar designado para las fotografías. Solo el estudiante puede salir del vehículo para tomar fotografías. Tendremos un fotógrafo disponible en el sitio.

7. Los padres también pueden tomar fotos desde el interior del vehículo.


(Antes del desfile, las cubiertas de diploma y 2020 Hornet Masks estarán disponibles para los graduados de último año).

Return of school issued textbooks, ipads, chargers - Devolución de libros de texto, Ipads y cargadores

The students need to return the school issued textbooks, ipads, charger cube, charging cord, etc. The students will be billed for items that are not turned in. Please see the schedule below.
