Prohibition of “Senior Assassin Game” on School Campuses and at School-Related Events

This message is to inform all students and families that the game commonly known as “Senior Assassin” is strictly prohibited on any school campus, at any school facility, and at any school-sponsored event at any time of day.

This prohibition applies before school, during school, after school, in the evening, on weekends, and during any other time students may be present on campus or participating in school-related activities.

In addition, students are advised that athletic events, competitions, team travel, and all school-sponsored trips are considered extensions of the school setting. As such, participation in “Senior Assassin” while attending away games, tournaments, or any off-campus school activity is also prohibited. This includes conduct at opponent campuses, athletic facilities, parking lots, hotels, buses, and any location connected to a school-sponsored event.

While some may view this activity as a game, it creates serious safety concerns, causes unnecessary fear and disruption, and may interfere with the orderly operation of school programs and events. Any activity that simulates stalking, chasing, targeting, or the use of look-alike weapons or water devices in a school-related setting is unacceptable.

Students found participating in “Senior Assassin” on campus or during any school-related activity, including away sporting events, will be subject to school disciplinary consequences. Additional consequences may apply when the conduct disrupts school operations, compromises student safety, or reflects poor judgment while representing the school.

Students are expected to exercise sound judgment and to ensure that their actions contribute to a safe, respectful, and orderly school environment.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Respectfully,

Atentamente,

Eduardo Vega

I-CAN Event - March 25, 2026

The I-CAN Event is a community-focused event organized and hosted by Calipatria High School designed to motivate students and families by highlighting the many resources and career pathways available to them. This event aims to show students that there is a pathway for everyone and that success is achievable with the right information and support.

High school students, 8th-grade students, parents, and community members will be in attendance. The inclusion of 8th-grade students allows them to begin exploring options early and make informed decisions as they transition into high school.

Participating organizations will have the opportunity to table, share resources, and engage directly with students and families about services, programs, and career opportunities. Together, we hope to inspire attendees, connect them with valuable resources, and reinforce the message that they can succeed.
