Dear Calipatria High School Community,

My name is Lucio Padilla Jr., and it is my absolute pleasure to introduce myself as the new principal of Calipatria High School. I am deeply honored to serve in this leadership role and to join such a vibrant and dedicated community.

As I begin my 29th year in education, I bring with me a wealth of experience as a classroom teacher and in various administrative roles at both the site and district levels. I can genuinely say that I have never been more excited to start a new school year. Last week, I had the opportunity to meet our amazing staff and begin planning for the year ahead. The positive energy and commitment to excellence were truly inspiring, and I cannot wait to meet our students and families.

I look forward to working together as an educational community, collaborating on enriching learning experiences and engaging in meaningful community events.

This school year is going to be our best one yet… Go Hornets!

Estimada comunidad de la escuela secundaria Calipatria,

Mi nombre es Lucio Padilla Jr. y es un absoluto placer presentarme como el nuevo director de Calipatria High School. Me siento profundamente honrado de desempeñar este papel de liderazgo y unirme a una comunidad tan vibrante y dedicada.

Al comenzar mi año 29 en educación, traigo conmigo una gran experiencia como maestro de aula y en diversas funciones administrativas tanto a nivel local como distrital. Sinceramente puedo decir que nunca he estado más emocionado de comenzar un nuevo año escolar. La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de conocer a nuestro increíble personal y comenzar a planificar el año que viene. La energía positiva y el compromiso con la excelencia fueron realmente inspiradores y no puedo esperar a conocer a nuestros estudiantes y familias.

Espero trabajar juntos como comunidad educativa, colaborar en experiencias de aprendizaje enriquecedoras y participar en eventos comunitarios significativos.

Este año escolar va a ser el mejor hasta ahora… ¡Vamos Hornets!

The schedule for the return of the registration packets will be in the CHS library on the following days. The registration packets must have all the required signatures and all the questions answered. The migrant form must also be filled out by everyone, whether you believe you qualify or not.

As a reminder, school starts on Monday, August 19, 2024.

El horario para la devolución de los paquetes de inscripción será en la biblioteca de CHS los siguientes días. Los paquetes de inscripción deben tener todas las firmas requeridas y todas las preguntas respondidas. Students can pick up the registration packets during the grade level time slots. All students are required to bring proof of residency (current utility bill or other document showing street address) on this day to receive a registration packet. Inter District Transfer students must bring a copy of the approved petition request.


Los estudiantes pueden recoger el paquete de inscripción durante el horario del nivel de grado. Todos los estudiantes deben traer prueba de residencia (factura de servicios públicos actual u otro documento que muestre la dirección) en este día para recibir un paquete de registro. CHS Sports Physicals Event for all Student-Athletes on July 26, 2024. The event will run from 12 pm - 2 pm and will take place in the CHS Cafeteria. We encourage all athletes (whether you plan to play in the Fall, Winter, or Spring) to take advantage of this opportunity. We will have Sports Packets on hand, and hope to clear the majority of our athletes at this time for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
