Create a magazine cover featuring yourself and listing all
of the 4th quarter assignments/projects.


You may use an existing magazine name or create your own.

Include each of the assignments as
articles listed on the cover.

Submit in Google Classroom as a PDF.

Photo shoot Guidelines:

Make a photo shoot for someone else (family member, friend, pets)
Use everyday objects around the house as props
If you want to recreate photos from your past (show the picture you tried to recreate and then show the outcome)
students can use a cell phone to take photos
Background of photo may be blurred but the subject of the photo should be clear 
Minimum of 6 poses but up to 10 with description for each photo
Photos and props should be school appropriate
Have the photo shoot include different scenarios;backgrounds. Students can also carry “props” for the photo shoot.
One or two poses per location
Photos should come out with no blur or fuzziness; essentially have good quality.
Photos should come in a variety of close-ups and distance shots. Minimum of two each.

What you did right
What you could have done differently

The document should be a minimum of a 2 page spread, you may incorporate a variety of elements, including pictures, text, graphs, charts, you may draw your own illustrations, etc.
This should reflect a magazine spread.

The class is divided into groups of 4.  Each group will focus on an app in the Google Suite.  Each person in the group will create a step by step set of instructions on how to complete a specific task in the selected program.  I have included a simple document to be used with a list of minimum components required.


Teacher must approve your group selection and topic.

• Using a minimum of three pictures…tell me who you are (but you can not be in the pictures).
• The pictures must correlate to something that makes you unique or a trait you have
• Example: loves to work with computers, picture can be some computer parts and tools that are used for this activity

• The composition of the photo must be organized and original (you have to be the photographer)
• Each photo should have a paragraph (5 – 7 sentences) explaining the picture.

Each day complete one task that is out of the ordinary around your home. This task must be beneficial to the household. The task may not include sleeping, gaming, eating, hanging out, your regular chores, or other similar activities.

Create a business card for the publications class. The business card should include an original logo, motto, and contact information. The contact information should be the schools information, not your personal information. You will submit the card on Thursday, we will review the cards in class on Friday.
